Big companies have procedures for everything. Little companies often work things out as they go. I’d like to share some tools I’ve developed so that you don’t have to reinvent the wheel.
The Weekly reporting for entrepreneurs template (download in the link) helps you to efficiently and effectively review your week and plan your next.
There are instructions in the template. Here are additional tips for getting the most out of it:
- Schedule 20 minutes at the end of each week to complete the template
- Add new headings to suit your needs
- Learn from your “didn’t” column. If you didn’t do the book-keeping for the third week in a row, next week’s list might include hiring someone to do it for you.
- At the end of each month look back over your weekly reports
